My childhood friend and college roommate Mike Musal stayed in touch through the years.

Mike periodically hosted house parties which were attended by his wide circle of social contacts -- many of whom were musicans. These parties always turned into gigantic jam sessions.

I also stayed in touch with my former workmate Miguel DelValle, whom I met at a Democratic Party event in 1996.

One of my cousins -- Gary Burris -- attempts to contain Manfred during a visit to Dallas.

And a new friend -- Josh Kleier -- visiting with his ever-present dog Teddy.
