Charles and Inez (Clendenin) Anthony

Myrtle Inez “Sis” Anthony was born August 18, 1919, in Newport, OK to Sam and Myrtle (Cypert) Clendenin, she died October 26, 2005. She and Charles Anthony were married on August 30, 1937, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1992. She was also preceded by her parents; brothers, Paul, Robert, Sam and Carl Clendenin. A lifelong resident of Ardmore, she worked for Stromberg Carlson/General Dynamics before she retired in 1981. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lebert Anthony and his wife Linda, Baytown, TX, Tom and his wife Flo, Ardmore; two daughters, Charlolett Painter and her husband Larry Lebanon, Katie Roberts and her husband Royce, Tom Bean TX ; two sisters, Sally Jo Cox, Houston, TX, and Betty Ruth Burris, Ardmore, OK; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild. She is buried at Lone Grove Cemetery, Carter County, OK, USA.
