October 2011 was an extremely busy month as my one year anniversary with Dikita approached.

During the first week I accompanied a few of my colleagues to a trade show in New Orleans. Though it was a busy work trip, I did manage a few hours to myself in the French Quarter.
The following week took me to San Francisco. Even though I arrived late in the evening, I managed to find the quintessential intersection in the city for a night out.

Again, a busy work trip afforded one day to see the city. A rented bicycle provided the opportunity to see much more than I could have seen on foot, or stuck in the gridlocked traffic.
