The next stop on my trip was New York City.

In the evening, I took a six hour bike tour of New York City that included a stop on the Brooklyn Bridge. Wall Street is visible in the background.

The next morning, I found Battery Park. The Statue of Liberty is in the background.

I spent quite a while exploring Ground Zero. It's a huge area.

Just a few blocks away is the site where the controversial Islamic center will be built.

From the observation deck of the Rockefeller Center, you can see for miles. The Empire State Building is in the background.
