I went on an extended vacation from August 18, 2007 through September 2, 2007. During my excursion I visited 3 cities in 2 countries...Caracas, Venezuela - Lima, Peru - Cusco, Peru. Here are some photos of some of the places I visited.

My first stop was Caracas, Venezuela.

Even in this far away place, there is a monument to JFK. This is Kennedy Park in Lima.

During my travels there is occasionally an instant that reminds me why I put myself through it all. Here I am preparing to paraglide.

One of those moments came when I stepped off of a cliff on the edge of Peru with hundreds of feet of nothing between me and the Pacific Ocean.

I also got to explore some of the remote areas of Peru.

Just a short flight from Lima is one of the most ancient cities in the world, Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is populated by Alpacas and Lamas, as well as lots of tourists.

There are lots of Incan indians in Peru.
