My next trip was a brief one, this time to Arizona.

The trip was centered in the small town of Sedona, in northern Arizona. The town is surrounded by red rocks and red desert.

When you first see the Grand Canyon, your first impulse is that you want to take a photo of it.

But soon it dawns on you that you can't really photograph it. It is just too big.

There was just enough time to stop in Flagstaff along Route 66.
